X4: Foundations. All Discussions Screenshots Artwork Broadcasts Videos Workshop News Guides Reviews You need Protectyon Shield Generator (storage capacity 50), you dont need condensate storage but it is good to have one solar/scrap station with protectyon storage near Windfall gate and set protectyon price at minimum (RIP will be happy).
I set up a depot and several Raleigh to get it to the stations. It''s a pain in the arse getting an Astrid to fill the Depot 430 units at a time. But hey. 4000 units will last forever in X4 time. You can take any large ship that docks S, buy a bunch of condensate Raleigh, take them through with you and then fill them all up, really easy to do.
X4: Foundations > General Discussions > Topic Details. dmansail. Jul 20 @ 9:07am The astrid equipment blueprints who has them ? Can you buy them? And does exists a condesate storage ? You can get the condensate storage in one of the choices you make at the end of the quest chain. You can then store condensate on a station.

X4: Foundations. All Discussions Screenshots Artwork Broadcasts Videos Workshop News Guides Reviews Condensate Storage is only obtained in the Avarice mission line by selecting a specific choice. It is also worth noting that the Protectyon Shield Generator is a storage module by itself, and can store 5 Protectyon.
Make sure your PHQ already has at least one condensate storage facility installed, obviously. I had eight on mine, so my PHQ now has 8,000 units of Protectyon in storage, with an extra 2,500 being carried by 100 Raleighs and 450 on my Astrid. ↳ X4: Foundations; ↳ X4: Foundations - Spoilers; ↳ X4: Foundations - Technical Support; ↳
X4 is a living, breathing space sandbox running entirely on your PC. Thousands of ships and stations trade, mine and produce, all realistically simulated. at which point you can potentially get a storage container). Raleigh''s (condensate) can move protectyon around. I make sure there is a buy order and set some to auto trade and also keep
Because apparently the only way to utilize anomalies is for me to directly pilot a ship through them, I''m trying to figure out the best way to automate Protectyon distribution. So far my best idea (which still seems pretty dumb) is to fit out 2 carriers/auxillary ships with a large number of Raleigh (Condensate) ships. Then when the spoiler event happens that allows
Once PHQ condensate storage is full, leave the Raleighs behind and teleport it out of Leap of Faith and somewhere within range of your Windfall trading station. Use as many or as few new
The blueprint you steal is for a condensate storage module (under the storage section in the build menu). You don''t actually produce the condensate, you merely collect it (manually) from the ancient object that produces it. Once you transport it back to network space, via whichever means you choose, you can then automate its distribution.

I teleported Player HQ into Leap of Faith. Unfortunatelly I had no condensate storage built so will need to teleport it back, build condensate storate and a few S-sized ships with 25 condensate containers. I will test if Protectyon collecting can be automated.

the Transport Class of Protectyon is Condensate, the only Ship that you can buy from the get go would be the "Raleigh (Condensate)" wich can be bought from Vigor (with the
Hey guys, just had a couple of quick questions. I''ve googled but it is surprisingly difficult to find good X4 plot stuff online. So, here we go: 1. I am at the part of the TOA plot where you are on the yacht with the twins and you have to decide how to proceed (Northriver or strike out on your own). What do these decisions cause? In my play through, I have done a pretty

question for modifying the files just for my own use, but if i wanted to add say, 20k condensate storage to this ship, would that just be going into assets->units->size_xl->Macros, then in storage file under the cargo max, add a second line like <cargo max="20000" tags="condesate" /> ? or what would be the tag for that? and is that okay if i modify the files for

As others have mentioned, there is a quest you get once you enter avarice. The first thing you do is rescue a Teladi from his damaged ship. Once you have progressed through the quest line to "Leap of Faith" you will have to make a choice: steal the condensate blueprint and have the twins put a bounty on your head, which makes Vigor very hostile.

When you start building a station, the first thing added or created is a so called "Build storage".
Water is actually stored in container storage. Think of it as barrels of water. Here is a breakdown of the storage types: Liquid: Hydrogen, Helium, and Methane (delivered by gas miners) Solid: Ore, Silicon, Ice, Nividium (delivered by mineral miners) Container: Everything else
At least the plot is about the "high price" of protectyon and that only comes with low availability in X4 - when there is 5000/5000 available, prices are as low as they can get. I just found the Condensate storage module size S which, according to the encyclopedia, can hold 10000 "somethings" of protectyon. Probably m³? So 1000 protectyon
anyway.. when you have access to the condensate storage you can store it, you can make multiple trips into leap of faith, get some, bring it to your storage facility and distribute it...
Unfortunately it seems like you do have to collect it manually though. The station in LoF spits out Condensate. The Astrid can carry something about 400+ Condensate. The storage module can store a good amount of it. You're supposed to jump into LoF once an hour to get 400+ Condensate, transport it back and store it until it is sold.

FYI: you could, theoretically, load 44 Condensate transports onto a Behemoth and transport them all through at the same time. Get two of these "fleets" and you could exchange them every hour IF you could figure out the timing.
