The structure anchoring the solar panels look rather flimsy will they be able to withstand gale force winds and storm.

Most of the standard, off grid systems have solar panels rated 3kW (say 9x330W) to go with this, but my plan is to get only 2kW panels (say 6x330 or 5x440). My calculation is as follows: 4x150Ah batteries can hold 150x 4 x 12 = 7.2kWh of which about ~50% will be usable = 3.6kWh.
